Works to educate and support people and communities in the risk-reduction, management and treatment of osteoporosis and fracture prevention * the strategy is focused on fracture prevention, professional education and outreach, patient education and self management

Staff and volunteers provide:

  • Fracture prevention programs
  • Dissemination of clinical practice guidelines and continuing education for health care professionals
  • Patient education and promotion of self-management resources
  • Education to public, community groups, workplaces
  • Educational materials including print and online resources
