Description

Description (Service) Offers virtual visits with a physician for qualifying patients. The online interaction is by video or audio chat. Services are available on a first-come, first-served basis for urgent, but non-life threatening medical issues.

Eligible patients still have access to a nurse practitioner or physician, could have their prescriptions or doctor's notes fulfilled, and will not be charged a fee for accessing the service.

Please note, your primary care provider should always be your first point of contact. If you cannot access your primary care provider in a timely manner, or you do not have a primary care provider, this service is a suitable option.

Hours Mon-Fri 1 pm-9 pm
Pediatric appointments: Mon-Fri 1 pm-5 pm
Areas Served Bruce County ; Grey County
Eligibility Virtual urgent care services are intended for patients who are:
  • 18 years of age or older (dependents as young as 3 months permitted)
  • Have a medical condition that is not life-threatening
  • Well enough to wait up to several hours to discuss the concern with a physician
  • Currently located in Ontario
  • This service is available to residents of Grey and Bruce Counties
Please be advised that virtual urgent care visits are not appropriate for narcotic prescriptions or renewals. Please see your regular provider for this.
