Description (Service) COVID-19 Response  
Due to concerns regarding COVID-19, the Hanover and Owen Sound offices are open with reduced hours for in-person service. Staff are working in person, in addition to assisting people via phone, text, email and Zoom. Call 519-371-9230 ext 5 or email 
Regular Service: 
Provides assistance finding a place to live in Grey and Bruce Counties. Serves youth and adults looking for a room, room and board, apartment or house rental. Maintains a housing registry that lists available accommodation. 
Where transportation is an issue, arrangements can be made to meet clients in their community 
Also offers assistance with Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) applications. Call Owen Sound office and ask to make an appointment, you will then be informed as to which documents are required.  
Main office is in Owen Sound at 945 3rd Ave E, Suite 24.

Public Comments For help finding emergency housing in Bruce and Grey counties Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm, call YMCA at 519-371-9230 ext 5. For after hours help Mon-Sun 4:30 pm-10 pm, call Safe 'N Sound at 519-470-2222.  
Mon-Sun 10 pm-8:30 am, call 2-1-1 to be referred to local police who will, at their discretion, arrange shelter for one night. 
Funds may be limited when housing assistance needs are high. Contact office for status or to discuss alternate options.
