Description (Service) | To locate publicly-funded physiotherapy clinics click here and select the local LHIN area to see a list of their local clinics. Physiotherapy is publicly-funded for adults with a valid OHIP card who are in certain situations. Individuals need a referral from their doctor to access publicly-funded physiotherapy. Individuals who may be eligible include:
Older adults 65 years or older who require in-home physiotherapy (at their own home or in a retirement home) need a referral from their local Home and Community Care office. Dial 310-2222 (no area code) or search here to find the local LHIN. For individuals not eligible for publicly-funded physiotherapy, the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario lists private clinics. |
