Description

Description (Service) Monthly benefit payment to help eligible households pay their rent. Benefit payments are:
  • portable, so benefit may be received after moving to another address
  • based on household income and local market rent values

Eligibility
  • Individuals or families experiencing or at risk of homelessness
  • Survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking
  • Indigenous people
  • Seniors
  • Individuals with disabilities
Application Eligible households must be either:
  • on, or eligible to be on, the social housing waiting list, or
  • living in social housing.
  • must have completed their 2022 income tax
