Description

Description (Service) Publicly-supported governing body to provide for the education of children attending public schools in Bruce and Grey Counties.

Programs include:
  • French Immersion
  • Ontario Youth Apprenticehip Program (OYAP) and Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs for students in secondary school who are interested in exploring career pathways in the skilled trades
  • community partnership with the Ontario Student Nutrition Program Grey-Bruce enables free nourishment in all schools by offering students daily access to healthy breakfast, lunch or snack programs
  • Speech and Language, Psycho-Educational, and Social Work assessments offered to students with a referral from their school principal
Available province-wide through the Ministry of Education:
  • Homework Help - free one-on-one support for math homework for students in grades 7-10
  • TVO Mathify - interactive tool for students in grades 4-10, Mon-Fri 9 am-9 pm and Sat, Sun 3 pm-9 pm at homeworkhelp.ilc.org
