Description
| Description (Service) | Provides socialization, recreation, physical/cognitive exercise, and caregiver relief in a medically monitored environment. Clients come to the program to take part in a wide variety of activities assisted by professional staff and trained volunteers. A meal with friends, a game of cards, music, exercise, crafts, and visiting with new friends are all common activities. Nutritious snacks and a hot lunch are provided. Transportation to and from the program can be arranged as needed. Locations in Wiarton, Owen Sound, Meaford, Markdale, Hanover, and Port Elgin this program is available to all areas of Grey and Bruce counties. |
