Description (Service) Confidential services to help adults achieve the math, writing and reading skills required for employment and to fully participate in the community * There are Adult Learning Centres in Wiarton, Walkerton, Saugeen Shores, Owen Sound and Collingwood * Sites may also support many locations within the local area. 
 
Services include: 
* Literacy & Skills program - improve essential communication (reading, writing, oral) and numeracy skills to enhance employment, independence or further training 
* General upgrading in math, reading and writing to achieve goals such as finishing high school, finding work, completing forms, or how to help children with homework 
* English as a Second Language (ESL) 
* Basic Computer Training - personal lesson with instructor or group lesson, call to book appointment * Some lessons available online  
* Family literacy  
* Correspondence courses 
* Support for people with learning disabilities

Hours Sep-Jun: Mon-Wed 9:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4 pm * Thu 9:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4 pm, 6 pm-8:30 pm * Fri 9 am-12 noon
