Description (Service) COVID-19 Response Due to concerns regarding COVID-19, this program is on hold until further notice. 
 
Regular Service: 
20-week skills trade program to help at-risk youth experiencing difficulties in high school or who have recently finished school develop a trade that could lead to a steady skilled job. 
 
There are two streams of the program:  
  • Carpentry - Students learn hands-on wood working skills while making products such as wooden sheds, wishing wells and dog houses 
  • Hospitality - Students gain hands-on kitchen experience including cooking, cleaning up, and safe food handling practices
 
 
Also includes basic life skills such as financial literacy, nutrition, building a resume and job searching.
