Description (Service) Promotes people participating and contributing fully in their community and becoming all they can be 
 
Services and opportunities that enable children and adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities to effectively participate in their community according to their interests and abilities. Supports include: 
 
* family support - assistance such as acquiring supports, providing special services at home, family meetings, parent relief and respite including overnight 
* residential services - 24 hour support, supported living and host family support providing the opportunity to live as part of a family environment  
* community support - advocacy, referrals and day program which includes recreation and life skills activities  
* employment support program - for recipients of ODSP, provides options such as job search, placement unpaid work trials, job coaching and retention
