Description (Service)

Provides emergency food to residents in Tobermory and surrounding areas.

Also provides Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving Hampers. Call to register in advance. Christmas hampers include toys for children 16 years old and younger. Toys/gifts are distributed by Tobermory Food Bank and are collected by Northern Bruce Peninsula Firefighters Association.

Donate Funds

You can drop off a monetary donation during regular Food Bank hours or mail a cheque (payable to the Tobermory Food Bank) to 211 Eagle Road, Tobermory, ON N0H 2R0. Cash donations are also accepted at the checkout at Peacock's Foodland in tobermory.

You can also donate by e-transfer to tobermoryfoodbank@gmail.com. No password is needed, but if you would like a charitable receipt, you must provide your name and home address in the message section of your transfer, or as a separate email. Tax receipts will be issued for donations over $20.

Donate Goods

Donations of non-perishable items, personal care items or household cleaning products are always welcomed and appreciated. Donations can be dropped off at the Canada Post in Tobermory, Tobermory United Church, Peacock's Foodland, or at the Tobermory Food Bank (during regular business hours).

  • Pick up at the food bank: Tue, Mar 26, 2024 * 11 am-12 noon.

Areas Served Northern Bruce Peninsula
Eligibility Residents in need of assistance living in the municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula (from Miller Lake to Tobermory).

Christmas toys are available for children 16 years old and younger
Application Walk in. No appointment required.

For Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas hampers, sign up at the food bank during regular hours or call Linda at 519-596-2333 or Jim at 519-375-1010. Registration is required to receive a hamper

For Christmas toys, age and gender of child is required.
